Still suitable for a daily driver, this “noticeable” system lets them know you’re coming. The RS5 Touring Edition system features specially designed Helmholtz Resonators and reuses the stock downpipes to give the RS5 a true V8 sound. Its simple straight thru design creates an increase of exhaust gas velocity in order to improve efficiency. The middle silencer (resonator) on the main pipe is designed to maintain torque in the low to mid speed range. All mufflers are made with SUS304 stainless steel, 1mm is used for main pipe and the ultra 0.8mm is used for main silencer. This combination creates a super light weight muffler. Durability can be seen throughout the construction of the system. The inner silencer is included with all systems. Actual product may vary. | HKS Hi Power Exhaust Acura Integra GS, LS, RS Hatchback 92-93 Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase.
