Originally operating as PRL Racing in 2007, PRL was officially founded just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania by Patrick R Linn. The brand was built with racing, performance and innovation at heart. Patrick entrusted two of his long-time racing friends, Denis Howell and Jason Greenawalt, to help accomplish these visions. The group officially changed its name to PRL Motorsports in 2011 when our team decided to begin offering our specialties through tuning and installation services and product manufacturing. Quickly, the company established a strong reputation in the Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru and custom fabrication market with our various innovative products. Over the years our focus has shifted towards developing entire platform performance product lines, specializing in products such as intercooler systems, intake systems, turbocharger systems, exhaust components, throttle body/intake manifold adapters, and much more. The PRL Motorsports Stage 1 Intake System offers great gains at an affordable price. This kit replaces the corrugated factory inlet hose with our better looking, smoother flowing 4-ply silicone hose and high flow air filter. The pleats found in the factory hose disrupts air flow, which limits power potential and throttle response.
