ARMYTRIX VALVETRONIC: HOW IT WORKS- BRIEF OVERVIEW:As an ARMYTRIX fan, customer, or potential customer, you have likely heard of Valvetronic. It's one of the prominent selling features of ARMYTRIX exhaust systems and has shifted the entire exhaust industry towards adopting similar technology in all exhaust systems. The whole point of the Valvetronic system is to give you an option for how loud you want your car to be. If you leave early in the morning for work, you probably don't want your car to be excessively loud, as it will upset your neighbors. Once you're out on the open road or shredding a canyon road, you want to hear those awesome noises your car makes. The Valvetronic system allows you to switch between being quiet and being loud with the push of a button via the included remote or through the smartphone application; this works by tapping into a vacuum source on your engine and connecting it to the control module. When you press the button on the remote or smartphone application, you are communicating with the OBDII module via Bluetooth. This OBDII module tells the exhaust valve module to allow the engine vacuum to open or close the exhaust valve. You can also set the exhaust valve module to an automatic mode which will open/close the exhaust valve based on predetermined RPM range or throttle position. Aside from getting a brutal sound with the Valvetronic system open, you can also gain power, especially if your car is turbocharged. Depending on the car, modifications, and tune you have, the valve being open will also the exhaust gas to flow more freely, as it does not have to pass through any muffler. If your vehicle is turbocharged, you may see a slight increase in boost pressure depending if you are running an open or closed boost cycle, resulting in more horsepower.

| Buddy Club Spec II Catback Exhaust Acura Integra DC2 Type-R JDM 94-01 Spec II is a specially designed system for competition use only. Its simple straight thru design creates an increase of exhaust gas velocity in order to improve efficiency. The middle silencer (resonator) on the main pipe is designed to maintain torque in the low to mid speed range. All mufflers are made with SUS304 stainless steel, 1mm is used for main pipe and the ultra 0.8mm is used for main silencer. This combination creates a super light weight muffler. Durability can be seen throughout the construction of the system. The inner silencer is included with all systems. | HKS Hi Power Exhaust Acura RSx Type S Off Road 02-04 Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler. Like Drager Exhaust systems, Hi-Power Exhaust systems are made from SUS304 stainless steel muffler and tip assemblies. Depending on the application, Hi-Power muffler tips are 96mm, 115mm and 120mm in diameter, piping diameter ranges from 55mm to 95mm. | In the N-1 Endurance Race, efficiency is everything. With that in mind, the N-1 exhaust systems were born to satisfy the want for quick throttle response and to effectively handle the rigorous demands of high-horsepower engines. The pipes were engineered with the aid of sophisticated CAD systems to develop the straightest possible lines and least number of bends. The straight-through canister projects from the car at an angle, which helps smooth the exhaust flow. The canister is built from SUS 304 stainless steel and features a 115mm tip with aggressive style. The Super Silencer is included on selected models, which can reduce noise levels by up to 7 decibels. The N-1 Series Mufflers are available for both NA (naturally aspirated) and turbo-charged cars.
