Starting right after the catalytic converter the B&B system has a 2.5????_ downpipe that leads into a center muffler. Upon exit of the center muffler the system splits into two 2.25????_ pipes that direct the exhaust to a pair of rear mufflers that incorporate B&B????_s proprietary Purge Resonance Technology (PRT) which is the latest in resonance control technology. The straight through design mufflers emit a deep sporty note on hard acceleration while the purge chambers collect and cancel the unwanted resonance at cruising speeds giving the car a nice mild touring tone with no interior resonance. Another benefit of the straight through PRT design mufflers and the CNC mandrel bent tubing is an increase in both horsepower and torque. Bold yet stylish 3.5????_ round double wall tips finish off the system for a distinctive look.
| Buddy Club Spec II Catback Exhaust Acura Integra DC2 Type-R JDM 94-01 Spec II is a specially designed system for competition use only. Its simple straight thru design creates an increase of exhaust gas velocity in order to improve efficiency. The middle silencer (resonator) on the main pipe is designed to maintain torque in the low to mid speed range. All mufflers are made with SUS304 stainless steel, 1mm is used for main pipe and the ultra 0.8mm is used for main silencer. This combination creates a super light weight muffler. Durability can be seen throughout the construction of the system. The inner silencer is included with all systems. | HKS Hi Power Exhaust Acura Integra GS, LS, RS Hatchback 92-93 Inspired and designed from endurance and GT racing in Japan, HKS developed its Hi-Power Exhaust system for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated applications. HKS has incorporated this new race inspired offset muffler and piping design into many street applications, which offers a greater flow and higher-PRM power gains due to the less restrictive design. This is achieved by eliminating unnecessary bends for the straightest exhaust path. For turbocharged applications, the large and smooth exhaust flow allows greater exhaust velocity for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power. Naturally aspirated vehicles also benefit from greater exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels increase. Certain applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version which has an inner silencer built into the muffler. The Super Silencer is included on selected models, which can reduce noise levels by up to 7 decibels. The N-1 Series Mufflers are available for both NA (naturally aspirated) and turbo-charged cars.
